Ship Facts: Disney Dream Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Disney Dream Deck Plans
Second time Dreamers

My husband & I are in our early 60's and absolutely LOVED the Dream! We chose to stay on board ship for most of our 4 day cruise because we just love the ship! Castaway Cay is a paradise in itself. We got there early in the day and managed to snag 2 hammocks on Serenity Bay and enjoyed those until the sun got too hot. The water is crystal clear and we did see one large stingray.

Food? If you go hungry, it's your own fault! It was delicious and much more upscale than the Disney cruise last year. And being able to bring your own liquor on board was great also. Saved us some money, although, for a cruise, mixed drinks were fairly reasonable.

The entertainment was top notch! We enjoyed the Disney Believe on the last night the most.

Our cabin was very nice. We were on the starboard side and were able to enjoy our veranda since we were in the shade for most of the time. Our cabin steward went out of his way to keep our cabin clean and ready for us, no matter what time of day we went back.

Our meal servers were just okay. They spoke much too quickly and with their thick accents, it was hard to understand or hear what they said. Plus the food coming out was slow except for the last night. They only had 3 tables and we expected better service.

We used the Magical Express for our transportation and got there in plenty of time to be on the ship early. Boarding the ship was very organized and it went quickly once they began boarding passengers.

We thoroughly enjoyed the Halloween Party and Pirates Night. We did dress up and had a lot of fun with that.

We loved the cruise so much that we again booked another one for 2015.
