Sailed on the Sensation Sept. 29th- Oct.3. We had a GS cabin #U107, which was amazing. Priority boarding was great, and quick. Got checked in, sat down for maybe 3 min., then we were boarding. As we entered the ship we were told that we could go to our cabins if we would like. This is not a suite perk, but I guess since we were boarding with Plats, Diamonds, and FTTF, they couldn't tell who is who. So we went and put away our carry-ons, and off to the Lido for lunch. We were sailing with our 13 y/o son, and my husbands parents. They had an OV on the same deck as us. We all grabbed some lunch and headed to the back of the ship to an outside area with tables over looking Serenity area. We made this our general meeting area when we ate at the buffet. With my in-laws only having on OV, we went down to guest services and had them a key card made to our cabin, that way when we went into port they could use our balcony. Or if they came over for drinks, we didn't have to wait inside for them if we were on balcony. Remember this if you order roomservice, you will not hear them knock at the door if your out there.

Very spacious cabin. Loved the huge closet, and all the drawer space. Balcony was the best part. Loved that we could just sit out there and just relax. Our neighbors were never out, so that was a plus. When we docked in Freeport, our balcony faced the pier, so we could people watch. In Nassau we were facing a Royal ship, and you could watch people below getting on and off, and of course the late runner. Our 2 Stewards were awesome, knew our names right off the get go. The bathroom was great, liked the tub, didn't ever have to worry about the shower running over. There is a ledge in there that was great to put some toiletries on, wish all cabins had this, instead of the tiny silver shelf. Loved the priority boarding, was told we could go to cabin as we boarded. Was able to store our carry-ons. The cabin wasn't fully ready, but that was not a problem, we weren't hanging in there just yet anyway. Will definetly book this cabin category again :)

We did the ATD option, which worked out great for us. We usually went around7, 7:30, they did seat us at the same table w/ the same dinning staff each night, which was nice. Freeport we just go off the ship for maybe an hour, and did a little shopping at port. Then got back onboard, went to the Serenity area, basically had it to ourselves, and enjoyed the afternoon. Hot tubs back there are very hot, I liked them, the others said they were too hot. Nassau we went to Atlantis, and did the Aqua Adventure booked through the ship, which included lunch. The place was not crowded at all, and no wait for any slides. We learned from our bus driver on the way there, that the Miami Heat was at Atlantis for some pratice, and R&R, but we weren't lucky enough to see any of the team...boo Lunch was good, if you do this excursion, save your cup from lunch, you can refill it for free all day. Getting back on the ship we could see my in-laws on our balcony waving to us, they enjoyed our balcony as much as we did. The ocean was so calm for this cruise, at times it almost seemed like we were on a lake. Overall this was an awesome trip, and we had a good time. The staff was always smiling, and very friendly.
