Just returned from back to back cruises on the Carnival Fantasy - 10 days of Fun! Embarkation was good in Charleston - and as we are platinum - was on the ship within 20 minutes. Too easy... Enjoyed the lunch and was in the room with our luggage already waiting for us by 1PM.

Did not do any excursions on the first cruise - enjoyed the ports, Senor Frogs and always love the ship when the majority of passengers are in the ports. Loved the new shows - and the comedians - they were particularly funny on both cruises.

Appreciated the talents of the Cruise Director - Risa Barnes. She keeps the energy high on the ship and was seen everywhere! She also know how to keep the extreme craziness down so people can enjoy the events. She is an experienced CD - and Carnival is lucky to have her. Our room steward, Angel and his assistant were amazing and so friendly - and always available for us. Then there's our waiter - Orlin who also waited on our rowdy table and kept his More professionalism and kept us eating!!! Overall, the staff on the ship was so friendly and helpful - it was a pleasure sailing with them.

This is our third cruise on the Fantasy - and will more than likely sail again as it is convenient and always a solid experience. I could see some changes - I am sure expense cuts came into play - but Carnival have managed to keep the prices down - which is much appreciated. We have cruised on the larger ships with more amenities - but always come back to the Fantasy! Try it - you will like it!!! Less
