Canada/ New England Aqua class
Destination: Canada & New England
Embarkation: Bayonne (Cape Liberty)
Embarkation was a awful. Due to sanitizing of the ship; boarding was delayed till 4 or 5 pm and cabins were not ready till after 6pm. Our 6pm diner reservations were delayed till 8:30 pm. We felt that day 1 was literally taken away from us. After that things were up hill all the way.
The staff was just wonderful throughout the entire cruise; always a friendly smile and greeting; service was perfect. We did aqua class for the 1st time and would highly recommend it to anyone willing to spend the extra bucks. Eating in Blu was a fantastic experience. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was very quiet and relaxing. We received two bottles of water in our cabin each morning as well as a cravat of tea. The fruit in the room was 3 apples on a plate and we never did see the "pillow menu"however the pillows they did provide were extremely comfortable. The shower and fog free mirror were a big plus as well as the plush towels and robes. More
We enjoyed all the ports except Gaspe, which we felt was a total waste of time. We were a little disappointed where we were docked in Quebec as we had to be shuttled to the main district. Two Holland America ships were docked there. The shuttle did run smoothly and we really did enjoy Quebec.
The entertainment was good except for one night, we were seated in the back near the door and were able to exit easily and without disruption.
Overall, this was a great cruise and we would not hesitate to do it again. Less
Cabin was convenient, clean and quiet. There were 4 elevators right nears our cabin and we had no problem accessing one whenever needed.
Word of warning
