Having sailed several times with Celebrity and over 50 cruises in total, we thought we knew what to expect.
We had booked an outside guarantee cabin, and I was somewhat concerned when we were allocated an adapted cabin to accommodate wheelchair users. I even contacted RCCL to ask could we be given an "ordinary" cabin, to no avail.
Imagine our surprise when we opened the door (cabin No., 3021), it was HUGE, with all the features expected from an outside cabin, with the addition of two armchairs and a table in the cabin itself, and a very large walk in bathroom with no step (obviously to accommodate wheelchair use) and an almost wet room like shower area. We were thrilled. The only difference we noted really was grip rails in the bathroom, which, had the seas been rough, we would have appreciated more.
