Embarkation – We park our car at park n cruise. The shuttle drive to the port was less than 15 minutes. We got to the port around 10:30 and was on the ship by 11:30.
Dining - The lunch buffet had a great variety of food. We had anytime dinning which we loved. Every night we ate in the dining room for dinner. The food was good to great. There was nothing I found mediocre. Every morning we ate breakfast at the buffet. The omelets were amazing. We loved the 24 hour room service!
Ship – Though I haven’t been on many cruises, the ship did feel older and small. The ship for the most part was clean. We enjoyed going to Trivia (if you win, you get a ship on a stick) and some of the other cruise activities. There is one pool on the ship which was either very crowded or very cold. The clubs were dead at night. However, the piano bar was always packed. Chinatown was the best themed lounge. I did enjoy the serenity deck (adult only). However, it was hard to find room in the hot tubs.
We had an ocean view room on the Rivera level. The room was bigger than I expected. There was a big closet to unpack. The room was spotless and cozy.
