Back about a week from our Mediterranean adventure on the Royal Princess. The ship was absolutely glorious. The food great, the staff and entertainment first rate.

Decided for the fist time to try anytime dining, it was a great choice. We felt like we were in a restaurant each night. Had dinner at the steak house one evening, worth the extra cost. Definitely recommend Alfredos, fun for no extra cost.

Two primary concerns that are worth mentioning.

The ship excursions were costly and disappointing. Somewhat rushed and the lunches were less than acceptable. Some of the guides were very good a few not even remotely interesting. Unable to get a true sense of the cities by eating in a hotel catering room.

The second concern is in regard to the ship personnel at the ports. For the most part they were unable to provide any information or assistance. There was definitely a language issue in play.

If you are going to do this trip and you can manage More it, do private tours, you will get much more out of it. Less
