Celebrity Reflection Cruise Review by hawkers: Perfect in every way!
Overall Member Rating
Perfect in every way!
Destination: Europe - Eastern Mediterranean
Embarkation: Rome (Civitavecchia)
Our group of 6 planned this cruise before the beautiful Reflection made her maiden voyage! Our expectations were high but were definitely exceeded in every way.
Embarkation was a breeze, lunch was fresh and very tasty.
Our cabins on deck 7 were spacious and conveniently located near the elevators. The bathrooms in particular were larger than expected. Unpacking did take a while as we had previously spent 5 weeks touring Europe.
This was our first time on Celebrity as all previous cruises have been with Princess. We loved Reflection and have already Sillouette for next year!
Two aspects in particular amazed us on this cruise - the food in the MDR was always hot, tasty and beautifully presented. We could not fault one meal.
Secondly the entertainment in the Theatre by the dancers and acrobatic performers was THE BEST we have ever seen. We were totally amazed by the three troupe performances in particular. How they were able to achieve that More level of performance is a credit to them and Celebrity.
We took only one Celebrity tour- the visit to Oia in Santorini. It was definitely beneficial as we were off the ship well before all those with private tours.
Private tours in Istanbul, Kushadasi, Athens and Capri competed our port experiences. Mykonos was just spent wandering and the day was perfect!
Disembarkation was also easy and well organized.
We cannot speak highly enough of this cruise experience. Thank you Celebrity. Less
