Having never cruised before, but have listened to many stories from my parents. We decided to give it a try and get our feet wet. Somewhat reluctant at first, we decided to book the 4 day Bahamas cruise on the Majesty. My parents 1st cruise was on this ship when it was new and coincidentally we made our first cruise on it as well.

We (family of 4, children 9 &12) elected to fly into Fort Lauderdale and shuttle to Courtyard Marriott Miami. We saved a couple hundred bucks flying into FLL. We shuttled to Miami using a service called Jiffy Jeff 305.588.6143. Jeff called me while we were in lay over to make sure everything was still on schedule. Once arriving at FLL, Jeff was waiting for us, loaded our bags into a very clean and fresh Mercedes van. Jeff is American, native to Miami and believe it or not spoke English($15.00 a person to Miami).

After staying the night in Miami we used the Hotel shuttle($5.00 a person) to get to the Port. The process of boarding the ship at first sight was somewhat overwhelming.
