Sail Date: Sep 2013

This was the first time we had sailed with Celebrity Cruises and what an experience. This was the 6th cruise in 3 years and it surpassed all the others..

We arrived at Southampton at 11.05 and were on board by 11.30. Never had it so quick. the organisation was speedy, friendly and first class. We are advised at 1.30pm that our stateroom was ready, we were on deck 12 in Concierge class. The only downside of this was the fact that stateroom was under the Ocean View restaurant. This did not matter during the day as no noise was heard but in the middle of the night and also about 6am there was noise from things being dropped and chairs being moved by the staff. If you travel on this deck make sure you are opposite end of ship.

The service and food in the main dining room, the Moonlight Sonata, was first class, we could not fault it. We decided it was not necessary to pay extra in the Speciality Restaurants as the food was so good. Breakfast and lunch in Ocean View was very good with a good selection and good service. Despite the number of passengers we always found a table.

Cabin Review

Comfortable cabin with all facilities. Ocean view with good size balcony. Cabin 2141 suffers from noise from Ocean View Cafe when they are cleaning. Not noticeable during the day.
