All inclusive travel to lovely Mediterranean destinations is available at a budget price on Island Escape. It isn't the most luxurious ship and bits are well worn but its all about value. We didn't expect "Harrods" when we were paying "Tesco" prices!

That said, the cabins were adequate (we paid extra for a window on deck 7 and were very pleased).

In the dining areas food was plentiful and there was a good selection of dishes available for every meal - including snacks and afternoon tea. There was no need for a dinner jacket and smart casual was universally adopted for dining - especially in the Island and Oasis restaurants.

Cabin Review

The cabin was small but adequate. twin beds pushed together made a queen sized double but with a ridge over the join and one side squashed against the wall. There was ample storage. Choosing an outside cabin was good for us as we like daylight. The shower area was rather tired but perfectly adequate and served its purpose well.
