our trip stared off one day early.  we stayed at the hamptom inn in deerfield beach.  wow. great hotel.very very nice. free hot breakfast.only 15 min. from port everglades.  just get on i 95 south and follow the sings to the port. easy. we got to the port at 1030 the day of the cruise. not sure when we could get on board.  we parked in the parking garage.  took the elevator down to the boarding terminal.  they started boarding at 11.30.  we were on the ship in 10 mins, no kidding ! very organized!very fast!  we went straight to the windjammer for lunch.  wow ! great spread.great food.  even better service.  after lunch we were excited to see our room.  we were kind of nervous we read a few reviews on how small the rooms were. we had a large ocean view room.  i am not a small guy.(275 lbs) so i was scared.  lol.  the room was great ! very cute.  plenty of room for the both of us.  the bed was great!then came the bath room. i was really scared!  lol.  it was great also. small but plenty of room to do every thing you needed to do.  remember im a big guy and i had plenty of room.  our luggage got to our room fast. we unpacked went off to explore the ship. o yea this was our first cruise.

our first stop was key west.  got off and went straight to duval street.  went shopping, had a few drinks.  (red fish blue fish was close and man what drinks !) we got back on the ship for lunch. (windjammer) wow.  even better then yesterday.  went up to deck 9 to the pool laid out to get some sun had a few more drinks. good ones i might add.did some people watching.  then went off to explore more of the ship.  wow.  very nice.  all of the ships personnel were so nice.  we never not once ran into any rude employees.  the all went out of there way.  it made you feel as if there was not any thing they would do or get for you.  we felt like royalty.  it was that good.tonight was are first dinner in the main dinner.  my fair lady.  6 o clock dinner.  this was by far the best food i have every eaten in my life.!  the service was just as good !  wow ! wow! you are in for a treat ! speaking of food .  i have never seen so much food in my life.! all day all night . every where.

we got off in mexico.  went straight to carlos and charlies . we had so much fun it was crazy.  the cab ride was 6 us dollars to down town.  and the same back. cabs are all over the place.  and be ready for a wild ride ! it was fun.  when we got back to the port we did some shopping. shop around the price are different at each stand ,and be sure to ask the price before you buy.  they will bargain with you if you saw it cheaper at a different stand .  i saw a corona tank top i wanted it was 9 us dollars at one shop so i wanted to see if i could find it cheaper .  i saw the same shirt no price so i asked and guy said for you 15 us dollars. i said what ! it was 9 down there ! ok ok he said for you 8.  so that was my shopping lesson in mexico.  then we went back on the ship and took a shower then went to the adult only pool; on deck 9.  there they had a bar and a all you can eat little food station. hot dogs all the fixings, pizza, and burgers. o yea they offer a drink package for the entire cruise of soda. the give you tea and coffee and water free.  don't drink the soda in your room or water they charge for that ! brink it to your room.  any way we bought one drink package and i got soda for both of us all cruise with one deal!  i got one soda then took it to my wife then got me one never one question !  well im running out of room so ill just say this was the best vacation we have ever had !!!!!!
