Travelled on the ship when it was the Destiny, five years ago. Terrific refurbishment in all of the public spaces. Very nice decor.
Itinerary; Venice and Sicily were my faves. Very intensive itinerary has something for everyone. Stayed a couple of nights in Barcelona and Venice hotels. Great choice as both cities have plenty to offer for everyone.
Balcony door opened when we arrived. AC dripped very slowly for 3 days. Nice new suite. Seemed less roomy than the older suites.
Dining room meals were excellent. Tremendous choices and excellent quality.
Serenity area is quite nice. Always found a place to sit, although many were reserved by 6am.
Emarked and disembarked in a flash. Nice.
Slow drips from the ceilings in several locations. Must be addressed as it gives you a very bad impression as to how the rest of the ship is being run.
Buffet was quite disappointing. Very limited selection.
Spa room was a waste. Lineups for the hot beds and no whirlpool in the spa ... disappointing. The staff never stop selling.
Basically no tv ... that's cruising.
Taxi for the day was 100 euros plus tip. Takes you to all the sites.
Did the HOHO around the entire city. Plenty to see and do. Gaudi anything was amazing. Aquarium was nice. Tapas were great.
Get to the old city and walk the wall and the town. Beautiful and fun.
Very expensive. 420 euros for the taxi/day split it 7 ways. Pisa is nice. Great shopping in Florence, if you're into that. Florence is a beautiful city.
Taxi for the day. See all the sites. Not expensive.
Amazing. Just get lost and get to St. Marks Sq. Go now ... go often.
