We have just returned from a wonderful trip on the Danube from Nuremburg to Budapest with Viking River Cruise. We spent three days in Prague before starting the cruise, and enjoyed every minute. Prague is a beautiful and fascinating city, and we took the 4-hour walking city tour which was very informational. That left us with plenty of time to sightsee on our own, and we found Prague a terrific walking city with dozens of places of interest.

We greatly enjoyed being on the Njord, a recently built ship. The staff was attentive, helpful and professional, and the food was fresh, delicious and attractively presented. Our stateroom was understandably small, but pleasant and with ample storage space. Our housekeeper Marija did a beautiful job of keeping it shiny and clean both morning and evening, and she did everything with a big smile and happy attitude.

The included city tours were very well organized with knowledgeable guides, and the buses were very clean and comfortable. Read more
