I have cruised for 10 + years and based on my experience this was the most disappointing.

Airport arrival - we connected with Carnival reps and were told that the shuttle would be arriving within minutes. We pulled our luggage outside and walked longer than we should have, in the heat. The shuttle they thought was picking us up, was not for us. So we waited a while longer. I think the wait would have been ok but we could have stayed inside the airport where we could have seats and ac available.
