Carnival Miracle - Disco meets Bordello

Sail Date: September 2013
Destination: Hawaii
Embarkation: Vancouver

We have just returned from a repositioning cruise on the Miracle.

We had great fun and met great people. The staff, especially dinner crew and room stewards were great.

The dining room looked like disco meets bordello disaster!

What was not so great was the buffet at Horatios. The area was poorly designed with food or drink centers at high traffic areas. Food areas were placed here and there with no real thought.

Hot foods felt too cool and were often dried out. The selection was very poor and was tasteless.

The only bright spot was the pizza but the options for toppings was ridiculously sparse.

Food in the dining room was adequate most nights but chefs need to learn how to make Pecan Pie.

The selection was adequate.

We would never travel on this ship again. Since this was our first Carnival Cruise, we are not sure we would travel Carnival again. Less

Cabin review:

The Balcony Cabin felt smaller than other ships but met needs.
