Hi all, My husband and I are seniors, we went on the 5 night cruise to Cozumel and Grand Cayman. The Paradise was a wonderful surprise, we had been on this ship years ago when it was a Non smoking ship, so we were familiar with the layout. But we had forgotten how nice the decorations were. The food was excelent. We had early dining and Dining staff did a great job, we are Diamond members and when we told the dining staff we needed to be finished with dinner by 7:15 in order to have drinks with the Captain, they had no problem getting us served. We had a table for 8 and stared dining at 6PM and we were all finished by 7 and didn't feel rushed.

The entertainment was more than we expected, even though there were only two production numbers. they were both really good. They also had a comedy show on at the same time as the production numbers, so you had a choice of entertainment. We had early dining and were able to enjoy dinner and still make the shows without any problem.

We live in Florida so drove to the port..we used an off sight parking area Premier Parking because it is less that half the price when compaired to what you would have to pat at the port. Did not do shore excursions since we had been to the ports before and had already done most of the tours on previous cruises, .arrived at Grand Cayman early and got on one of the first Tender boats, but with the time difference nothing was open..so we went back to the ship to enjoy the pool. The serenity area was also one of our favorite places, but the tile was a little hot..so you need to wear shoes to go to the hot tubs or you can burn your feet. There is no charge for their Serenity area. They had four hot tubs onboard, two in the Serenity (adults only, quite zone) and two close to the pool. We enjoyed both areas. My husband even went down the water slide.

Cabin Review

Cabin Riviera 52 was an inside cabin with bunk beds. Closets were a lot bigger than we needed for just a 5 night cruise. The cabin we really close to the elevators so it was very easy to get around. No exterior noise.
