Sail Date: Sep 2013

Wife and I went on 16day med cruise on Adventure of the Seas sailing on Friday the 13th of September and it certainly seemed a bit doomed at first. On embarking and getting to our stateroom on deck 6 we found that the toilet pan had a large crack in it and the balcony door was very difficult to open.

I reported both points to customer relations desk immediately, they sent an engineer up with a toilet seat which was not the problem and he looked at the balcony door, he returned a short while later with another engineer to which they "hammered" the balcony door so it opened easily (nothing done about the toilet).

Apart from these two points the cruise was good but we felt the ship was "tired" and ready for a refurb which I believe is being done in March 2014.

Cabin Review

Balcony a bit small and has metal from floor level to rail (higher deck balconies have glass), chairs (2) not very comfortable.
