Well, we did not learn from an awful P&O med cruise two years ago1 we have just returned from our second and LAST cruise. The Ventura ship was interesting with lots of activity areas such as pools, bars, show rooms etc, cabin small but with a balcony adequate, crew with a couple of miserable exceptions were very good , friendly and fun, especially at my efforts at Hindi and Phillapino. but as with our last effort the big let down was the quality of the food, so bad in fact that we ate in the paying restaurants which added to the overall cost.

The breakfasts in the buffet were very good with a big selection, quite a job though to learn where to go on board. There was an organised tour around the Ship, for the pricely sum of only £75, yes £75, totally ridiculous!! The shore trips were fantastic but ranged from The Rock Revealed at £70 each, to An Introduction to Rome at £105 each, 7 trips to go on, the Barcelona trip ruined by a hopeless Tour Guide, we would have been better off without her. What really struck us the most was the standard of most of the passengers! how many of them were able to afford the cruise was a mystery, we summed it up as BUTLINS ON SEA.!!

Cabin Review

Nice little cabin with plenty of storage space, and very well serviced by pleasant girl.
