We went on this cruise from Sept 22-29. Well, where do I start. I guess I will start with the things that I liked which are few. First of all the embarkment was a breeze. The people at the counter were very nice and we were on the boat in about 45 minutes. By the time we got to our cabin our luggage was already there. The Serenity deck was fabulous. It was very well laid out with big hammocks and very large round chairs that seat an adult couple comfortably. Some downsides to this but I will get to that later. The cabin was big enough for 3 of us and the bathroom was large enough to accomadate all our needs. We never met our cabin stewart. The room was always clean when we came back so kudo's to him for that. Thats it for the pro's. Now the con's

Like everyone says the ship is dark and dreary and nute pictures everywhere you look. How about the statue hanging down from the ceiling that you can't miss while riding on the glass elevators. Really gross. The picture on the wall in the karokee lounge is discusting too. When you eat on the Lido deck there are nude statues of mermaids hanging on the ceiling above you. I mean, come on!!! The pools were all small and by afternoon were cloudy and dirty. That goes for the hot tub too. You could only get 3 adults in it comfortably. The pools and hot tubs never opened up until 8:00. We were the first ones in as it was nice and clean then. The activities were terrible. They were always either getting cancelled or changed around. The bingo was fun but after EVERY NUMBER he says " yea baby " Very annoying after awhile.

The food on the Lido deck was always cold EXCEPT for the pizza which was great and made right before your eyes. The food in the dining room was so so. The night I had the lobster the gentleman and I both got sick. The soups were good and hot and the deserts were good. Didn't like the chocolate melting cake....way to sweet for me. Our waiter was Jose and he was great. The waiters in the dining room in the mornings were rude and could barely utter a good morning. Our disembarkment was pretty quick. We decided to take our luggage with us and we were in our car by 10:00. I will never go on this ship again. Back to Royal Caribbean for sure. We took rthis cruise because it was cheap but you know what they say...." You get what you pay for "
