We booked a fly cruise with celebrity flying from Manchester airport with jet2. When we arrived in Rome we were met by a celebrity rep and told where to leave our cases. We quickly boarded the transfer bus and were on the ship about one hour later. Celebrity have things very well organised.

This is our fourth celebrity cruise and on previous ones we were greeted with a glass of champagne, however on this ship drinks are served outside the ocean view cafe on deck 14. We think that spoils the welcome a little. We had lunch in the Oceanview cafe, it was ok noting to write home about. Usual pasta,salad,stir fry etc you find on most ship self service restaurants. There was plenty of space to sit and the staff are very friendly and efficient.

Lifeboat drill was held at various locations on the ship and consisted of watching a film presentation. Read more
