Embarkation: The process was very smooth very little delay in trying to check in. It would be helpful to have carnival employees located outside where you check in your luggage to help facilitate in starting the process.
Decor: The cruise ship was fairly well kept, but the theme on the ship could use an update, your vision is flooded with a pepto bismol color pink. The layout of the ship could have been more well thought out in terms of location of lounges, dining rooms. The overall flow of the layout can be troublesome to navigate on the first few days on the boat.
Customer service: The dining crew we had at the 6:00pm dinner was very nice, friendly, and helpful with many of the requests of the people in my party. Everyone we needed assitance from was very helpful and knowledgable of the ship. The room steward I had was average, not very chatty but did not fall short with any of the requests from the occupants in my room.
Cabin Review
The room was spacious for a child and 2 adults. The tv was a bit a tiny, but when your on the ship you shouldn't be watching tv in your room. The bathroom was tiny but functional enough to get the job and get around. The beds were comfy and sheets were pretty clean, the room steward kept the room very clean. Plenty of closet space, I found it useful to bring my own hangers for added space. The draws were large enough to put a good amount of clothes into. The maintenance of the shower area could have been better maintained it had broken grout and some staining behind the soap containers. There was a window in the room but it did not open it would have been nice if carnival had allowed a porthole to be cut out in the window.
