Ship Facts: MSC Divina Review (by Cruise Critic!) | MSC Divina Deck Plans
Hope you enjoy second hand smoke.

Very nice new ship, but a poor design. There is very poor separation between smoking and non smoking areas. For example you have to walk right through the Casino or bar above that is open to the Casino via a large stair case to get to the Theatre and sitting in the theatre the smoke drifts through, yuck.

They have no areas that are adults only even bars, unless you are prepared to pay a lot more for access to exclusive areas.

People grab all the chairs around the pool early in the morning despite rules saying if just leave towels on chairs they will be removed, nobody enforces it, so you can't get a good seat or lounger near the pools.

The buffet restaurant is too small, and you can't get a table a busy times, then they close off all the drinks stations about 9am, to force you to buy drinks.

The formal restaurant was very nice, except don't order the duck, it was so overcooked you couldn't even get a fork into it, and the waiter said yes that happens every cruise. (went on the MSC Splendia following week the duck was perfect, after we explained what happened and ordered beef, he also brought us duck to show it was good. It was perfect)

Overall e felt the whole aim of the staff on board was to extract as much money from you once they had you on board, you couldn't even bring back on board a half finished bottle of water. Excursions were extremely expensive, often where local taxi's or buses were available at much less.

Basic advise, Use Celebrity or Princess in preference.
