First time cruisers were very impressed with Norwegian and the Sky!
We parked nearby the Miami port. Embarking was a snap and lunch was ready and plentiful when we arrived. The buffet was filled with so many choices and all was fresh and delicious.
We explored the boat and found it to be tastefully decorated , clean and just the right size that we didn't get lost. The pool area with the jacuzzis was just right. We used the stairs more than the elevators, which were constantly busy. There was plenty of live music playing here and there, which was varied. The restaurants were very nice and the waitstaff more than friendly. The entire staff were friendly and approachable.
Tendering to the shore excursions was so easy and fun. The private island was filled with plenty of beach, water, food, and fun! The ocean in the Bahamas is gorgeous!
The port excursions were easy and it was optional. If you chose not to go, there was plenty of entertainment, and lots More of fun things to do on board while docked.
From deck to deck you will find something fun to do, beautiful scenery, lots to eat and drink, plenty of fellow friendly cruisers to chat with, a quiet spot to enjoy the view and a peaceful smooth cruise to dream.
The last morning we enjoyed the last buffet for breakfast, and we were not rushed off the boat at all. Many of the crew were there to say goodbye, which was bittersweet.
Next time we cruise it will be for a full week, because, we did not want to leave the Norweigan Sky. Less
