Ship Facts: Voyager of the Seas Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Voyager of the Seas Deck Plans
Fabulous Cruise - Highly recommended

My husband and I have just come home from the 12 Day Japan Cruise. Ports visited were Toyama, Sapporo,Tokyo, Nagasaki and Busan.

After arriving on the ship after a great embarkation experince in Tianjan, China we went to our cabin 9634 and were pleasantly surprised by the cabin, large, roomy, excellent balcony and a walk in wardrobe and full bathroom. It was lovely and we could not have asked for more.

Our cabin steward Max was an absolute delight, he did everything for us, was kind and generous with his time. Highly recommend Max to Royal Carribean.

Ports (mentioned above) were great. Toyama, as a port still needs some work with logistics, as there were not enough taxi's at the port to take passengers into Toyama itself after arriving at 4pm in the afternoon. Took the Alpine Route tour which was nice, but spending 3houra each way on a bus was not something I would recommend, however the sceanery from the bus was beautiful. Next was Sapporo, and highly recommend taking the rope walk tour up to the Volcano, excellent experince and well run excursion.

Toyko was also good, but would have preferred an extra day here as it has so much to see and do and little time in the city itself before sailing to Nagasaki. You need two full days in Tokyo. Nagasali, wonderful and the best day of the whole cruise, seeing the atomic bomb museum and peace park was very sobering, but educational. Just loved Nagasaki, don't miss this port if you can avoid it

Busan in Sth Korea also good, recommend the golden Budda tour by the sea. very interesting, but our guide just talked and talked non stop the whole time about Buddism and religion which drove all the passengers on the excursion crazy.

Disembarkation back in Tianjan was very smooth and well run. Logisically, Royal Carribean had their hands full getting 3000 passengers and crew off the Ship. Hats off to them, they really have their act together, slight delays, but nothing to worry about.

The crew of the Voyager were overall excellent, very courtesious, friendly and helpful. Food on board was great also with lots of variety, volume and tasty to boot. Could not fault this in anyway. Also worth mentioning is that you get free tea, coffee and ice cream on board all day and free little cakes and rolls from the coffee shop on the promenade deck! great initiative.
