ALL aspects of the cruise we considered excellent!
One of the most desirable things onboard the ship was that there was open seating for dining. We could select to sit with some "old friends" to have dinner with one night or meet new people to eat with the next. Going to eat when we were ready and hungry made it easy, comfortable - a no brainer. So many other cruise lines restrict you to one table for the whole trip which can really make or break your experience.
As far as the cruising itself the proximity to the surrounding islands, mainland, and glaciers were made possible with the small cruise ship. It made everything up-close and personal.
With an onboard historian it made for an interesting and enriching cruise.
Accommodations were so excellent! We loved it so much we've selected the same ship and room for our next cruise - just a new itinerary!
Food was excellent the crew worked More extremely hard. Doing virtually everything. They knew our names and we felt like we've known them much longer than a week by the end!
There was even some clowning around fun to be had with my wife and I and the other passengers. The Tiger mascot went missing one night! HA Less
