Ship Facts: Splendour of the Seas Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Splendour of the Seas Deck Plans
Amazing Cruise!

We travelled from Brisbane, Australia to Venice, via China & Paris. Stayed in Venice overnight (Hotel Corte Di Gabriela, which is amazing btw) before our cruise. Embarkation was quick and easy. Boarded at about 12:30pm. Straight onto ship for lunch at Windjammers.. Huge selection! Our room was excellent, on the best side of the ship, right by the captain and co, and able to see land/coast as we sailed. Ports were, Split (Croatia), Ephesus (Turkey), Mykonos & Argostoli (Greece). Excellent destinations. Did the waterfalls tour at Croatia which was awesome. Also the caves & winery at Argostoli which was nice too. We ate at Chops Grille three times and at Izumi. The steaks are the best we've ever had.. and the oysters are to die for! Absolutely amazing and the staff were A+.. Our stateroom attendant 'Fernando Walters Calvin' Was one of the nicest people we'd ever met and did a fantastic job cleaning our room, sometimes 2-3 times a day.. Unreal! Our room had a balcony (7002) .. Best level with no overhead noise and no noise from centrum. Theatre was ok, not the greatest, casino was great, tons of food everywhere on the ship, ate dinner twice in main dining room & had salmon one night and stuffed chicken another night, was delicious, hotdogs were nice, bbq ribs at windjammers were yummy. The brisket carved at lunch was so tender... yummy! omlettes made fresh at breakfast.. plus we had room service (3x breakfast, 2 late night burgers, chicken, chips, free ..again amazing!. Starbucks coffee which we had almost everyday (small charge) and drinks were reasonable. Cocktail drink of the day were always $6.95usd & you kept the souvenir glass which I thought was a fantastic deal. Our only gripe is the way RC hold charges on your credit card and later bill you again for the final amount, leaving your account with twice the amount gone until half (holding amount) is reimbursed 2 weeks later.. Annoying! especially for those who might need those extra funds if still holidaying after the cruise..

other than that, We absolutely loved this cruise and are already booking another with RC.. Can't wait to sail again!
