Carnival Conquest 9/8/13
The Conquest is a nice ship, but she is starting to show her age. There are some cosmetic issues that are starting to show, loose tiles, etc. However, she does still know how to show her guests a good time! Hasbro the Game Show was great! The shows that we saw were pretty good. Red Frog and Blue Iguana were both good. The large screen on LIDO has several bad spots. Be cautious of the popcorn on movie night, they tend to overcook it! The warm chocolate melting cake was delicious as always! Service in the dining room was very good most nights. We had bad service one night and went to the maitre de to resolve the issue.
We had them take a lot of photos but did not like that they do not offer any type of packages.
One thing that we decided on this trip is that we enjoy the balcony too much to ever stay interior again. While the interior cabin is nice and dark which makes it easy to sleep, we miss having the sunlight waking us up everyday!!
The staff was nice and More helpful. We had FTTF on this trip and loved the benefits. The priority line at guest services was very helpful except on the day of debarkation. We waited for almost 30 minutes with two people in front of us. No one apologized at all, which was a bit disappointing, but we also understood that it was debarkation day.
Overall, we had a very good time, as we usually do!! Less

Cabin review: Carnival Conquest Interior Lido 9248
Great location, close to stairs and elevators. Relatively quiet.
Port and Shore Excursions
We shopped and then we went to The Wet Lizard! We LOVE the Wet Lizard! Laura and crew is fantastic!
Great experience and very reasonably priced! Had a clamshell for shade, floaties to play on, and rides on magic flying chairs!
