Fantastic ship and wonderful cruise on Norwegian Breakaway...made even better by the best crew(s) in the industry. But, 1st a little about us - we just completed our 25th cruise, 14th with NCL and 11th in a row with them and 3 more booked. We wouldn't keep coming back if we didn't like NCL's brand of hospitality. We've been to 6 of the 7 continents (missing only the antarctic)and over 50 different countries and territories. Seasoned travelers.

Flew into NYC 2 days before the cruise - stayed in a Doubletree in the financial district - a really nice hotel, and we saved $300 to $400 over mid-town hotels. Took a cab to Pier 88 at 10:30 - special Haven checkin was painless and we were having lunch in the private resturant by 11:30. Staterooms ready after lunch - leaving time to explore before the life boat drill.

In our opinion, Norwegian is setting a very high bar for features, amenities and options for people of all ages. The ropes course was really amazing, though not our cup of tea - people of all ages in line to try it out. And, a special separate venue for "little" tykes.
