This was our third Magic cruise, but our first as Platinum. We always drive in from Houston the same morning, and park with Lighthouse which we book online. Were able to embark and go directly to our rooms at 11:15, and especially enjoyed the special lines at the service desk for Platinum members as well as the chocolate treats that appeared in our room.

Service in all areas was great and very friendly, as always. James, the cruise director was very enthusiastic and entertaining, as was Jay (karaoke). Loved, loved the Indian food at the back of the ship, as well as the deli, pizza, salad bar and mid-ship BBQ on sea days. Shows were only OK, except for the Illusion show which was great. Cove balcony and Anytime Dining were perfect for us (only wait time was on first formal night and then it was only 15 minutes).

Room 2325 - cove balcony. Had a whining noise that kept us awake two nights. We were told it was because the stabilizers were out, and had a very hard time sleeping those two nights. Have had cove balconies before without this issue, so will try again as we love the privacy and shade of the coves.
