This was our second cruise on the Magic out of Galveston, with our first one being in March that did the Bahamas and Key West. We got off our second Magic cruise on Sept 8, 2013 and loved it. Our ports of call were Jamaica, Grand Cayman and Cozumel. We had flown to 2 of the ports before so we were familiar with the islands. Very easy getting to the terminal to board the ship. My mom is platinum and we got to breeze thru boarding with them since she had booked the cruise. We were on the ship before noon and went and had lunch at the Italian Restaurant (it was pick your pasta and what you wanted in it and it was wonderful and FREE for lunch). After eating our luggage was in our rooms so we quickly unpacked and got ready to set sail. We booked our balcony room on the lido deck port side and asked for the divider be opened between our rooms. This did take several hours to get accomplished this time unlike our cruise in March in which our cabin steward did for us as soon as we requested. Dolphins were swimming and showed us the way out of the gulf.

We had late dining in the Northern Lights and loved our head waiter Smith and his assistants. WONDERFUL FOOD and of course they all had our preferences and names down by the first night. If you wanted to try a new food they would encourage it and would bring us something different if we did not like it. Our room was always clean whenever we returned to it. Don't know how they kept up with it because we never saw them but a couple of times. Great Service, great food and wonderful ports! We were off the ship by 8 am with no difficulties.

lido deck 10260 is a great balcony room! Was louder this time than in March when our room was just 3 doors down from this location.
