Second cruise on Carnival Dream

Sail Date: August 2013
Destination: Western Caribbean
Embarkation: Port Canaveral

We sailed on Dream Aug 2010 and loved it. So we chose this cruise and booked a cove balcony. The cruise was fun... The shows are the best we have seen bar none. I hope they don't do away with the band and dancers as they are on other ships like Breeze and Freedom.

Dream has no Guys Burgers so anyone who says they do is uninformed. They no longer have sushi bar but the taste bar was even better. The dining room had wonder food as did Lido. We never had pasta bar.

The ship is showing wear but is still very nice.

We were platinum but did not receive our logo gift and were not tendered first in Belize.

The spa was nice but we didn't use it. The gym was nice too and we did use that!! The exercise classes are too expensive for me.

Everybody on the ship was nice and friendly as can be. We did not meet our steward for 4 days and that was surprising. That's not happened on any other cruise ever. But he was friendly. Room service was prompt More (breakfast). And the ports were great especially Roatan and Costa Maya. We did a snorkel excursion in Belize. Stayed on board in Cozumel.

BTW we would do cove balcony again in a heartbeat.

Embarkation-- we had to stand outside in the heat for An hour and 1/2 w/ no explanation. Less
