Our Day started with excitement because we were LONG overdue for a vacation and were very excited to be taking a cruise out of New York and not dealing with airlines, etc. We have previously been on Royal Caribbean and Carnival cruise and we were looking forward to something different. We arrived at 12noon, understandably it was very crowded and took us about 2 hrs to actually get on the ship. A bit annoying, but with 2,000 people trying to register you have to expect some bit of a wait.

We were quite surprised when we entered the ship in what they call the "Grand Atrium", all I kept saying to myself was "HA", you call this a grand atrium.. All it was was 3 stories of mirrored windows and 3 glass elevators. I was very disappointed.

We eventually made it to our room to find out the beds weren't put together. Seeing we were a married couple, we didn't want to sleep apart. We then told the room attendant who came in and just pushed them together,of course against the wall. For starters one bed was hard as a rock and the other bed was too soft and barely had enough room to move on. Needless to say, I couldn't get to close to my husband to to the uneven mattresses. The bathroom had some rust stains and didn't look overly clean, they don't have very long between cruises so you know they lack in areas just to make it look clean. A few of our towels have stains as well as the sheets, etc.
