Traveled with children

My husband and I have been on 6 cruises before having children. This year we finally were able to take the children ages 18 and 22 on a cruise. We told them how wonderful cruises are and after reviewing some critic reviews on the Grandeur saying it was old, dirty, staff not nice and food was OK. I have to say that that was all false. The kids had a blast and want to go on a cruise every year now instead of the shore.

Grandeur's main dining room food every nite was great, our waiters each night were fantastic Ravi and Albert. The Park Cafe by the solarium had the best healthy lunches, Windjammer Cafe was perfect for a late breakfast. Our rooms were recently updated and clean. One of the best things too was the ship is not huge, compared to some of the cruises we have been on but big enough for the kids first cruise - we had no problem finding our way around and meeting up with them. The shops were nice and the special sales they had were better than the islands.

The CocoCay Island was the best, I would totally take advantage of everything there is to do there than in the Bahamas, we really didn't care for the people there. In Florida if you need a cab call Ed comstock 321-750-9669 when you get off he'll pick you up and drive you in town or whereever and give him a time to pick you up and he'll be there.

Interior Stateroom

Cabin M

We stayed on the third floor, very quiet, interior room, perfect size for the two of us, good closet space and love the desk area had lots of shelves and drawers for your clothes and all your bags fit under the bed. The kids were down the hall, room again was very very nice and had a window and they loved it.
