We had an awsome trip. A total of 8 family members were on this trip and we flew into Orlando the day before from California. Used "Sunny's Transportaion " to get to Port Canaveral Hotels and to return to the airport at the end of our trip. It was $255.00 r/t for the 8 of us.

We took the shuttle from the Hampton Inn to the port on Saturday. We were on the ship in less than 45 minutes. Room was ready by 1pm and all of our luggage was there by 3pm. Awsome balcony room with plenty of room for 4 people. Our 25 yr old son took the bottom bunk and our 10 year old had the top bunk. My husband and I had the queen size bed. Very comfortable. Great bedding. Our balcony overlooked the 5th floor jacuzzi, but there were never more that 6 people in this jacuzzi at any time. Very peaceful.

The food in the Gathering was really pretty bad, except for the made to order omlettes in the morning. For lunch we used the sandwich grill, the pasta bar and the Tandoori Station. These were all quite good. Main dining room was also a bit of a disappointment, but the one night we went to the Steakhouse, we had an awesome dinner. Read more
