We boarded the ship in Venice. Beautiful ship. Our first Seabourn cruise. We got the 'guaranty' verandah cabin and ended up next to the elevators, stairwell, which turned out to be no big deal. Very quiet!
The cabin stewardess introduced herself and then we never saw her again. Evidently she became ill and had to leave the ship. Our only complaint of housekeeping was that we never had our bed linens changed during the entire week.
The service was amazing. Caviar and champagne delivered to our suite every afternoon at no charge. This was my 40th cruise and I have to say it was the best in terms of service and culinary.
Our ports all started to look the same (Greek isles) however Seabourn made sure that we were safe at all times.
Not much in the way of evening entertainment or daytime activities, however we were never bored.
Our transfers to Athens airport at the end of the cruise were smooth. Seabourn definitely looks after their clientele.
