Ship Facts: Enchantment of the Seas Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Enchantment of the Seas Deck Plans
Excellent Getaway

We dropped the car off at Park n Cruise at 10:30 am and were on board by 11:15.

We had a large oceanview stateroom on the bottom passenger deck in the center of the ship. Room was clean and attractive with ample storage space. Shower had sliding doors. Cabin was cleaned promptly each day and ice bucket was always full.

On board activities

We attended the farewell show "From Screen to Stage," and thought it was excellent. Very high quality production with enthusiastic and talented performers. It also included a surprise performance by Captain Gus who seemed to be everywhere. We also really enjoyed the live music that you could listen to at various venues. We also visited the casino regularly and found the staff there to be very nice, and we managed to come home with more money than we took.

We ate at Chops Grille the first night and the MDR the other three nights. All the meals were very good. During lunch we ate at the Park Cafe and on the sea day had their somewhat famous beef sandwich. Breakfast was either Park or the Windjammer Buffet. As has been reported before, the buffet is extremely busy on embarkation day so Park is a good alternative.

We purchased the premium beverage package and were glad we did. We felt like we got our money's worth and there was no difference in service.

All Access Tour

On the sea day we participated in the All Access Tour. It is a three hour behind the scenes tour and was a great experience. We met with various department heads, visited the galley, engine room, storage areas, crew areas, backstage at the theater, and the bridge. We thought it was a great value at $75 a couple and was very fascinating.

The Ship and Crew

Beautiful large pool area. Not many kids on this cruise but when there are a lot, the Solarium pool is adults only. Centrum was also a great space and our favorite lounge was the Schooner. Every area was clean and well maintained. The crew members were very friendly and accommodating.

We carried our own bags off and walked right off. Our shuttle was waiting for us and we were in our cars in less than 30 minutes from the time we left the cabin.
