This was our second cruise with Norwegian in the past year and overall. The last ship we went on was the Jewel and we had a great time. This ship is advertised as a Nickelodeon Cruise yet they only had maybe one Nick themed activity per day.

The Broadway themed shows I'm sure were great but we only got to see Burn the Floor which was a ballroom dance show and a we got to see the comedy magician. Both shows were great but the dance show played for the first 2 or 3 nights, then the next show was Rock of Ages which wasn't for kids and that show played for a couple of nights also. They had no variety at all and you had to make reservations for each show! If you didn't know in advance about the shows and tried to book them last minute or the night before when you got the daily itinerary, then chances are the show was already fully booked.

The food in the Garden Cafe was very disappointing. They didn't have much of a selection and pretty much had the same selection of food every night. On our last cruise on the Jewel the Garden Cafe had a large selection of food and was different every night. On the Breakaway, we were looking forward to having eggs benedict every morning for breakfast because it was so good on the Jewel. Again we were disappointed. It was barely warm and the hollandaise sauce was cold so it cooled the eggs down.

Family Balcony Stateroom

Cabin B2

Our cabin was a bit small with a small balcony. Have to use your key card to get power in your cabin.
