We embarked at Barcelona and for once it was organised not as chaotic which is bonus. We got on board to find our room not ready so we sat on the deck and chilled. By 3.30pm room still not ready was getting a little annoyed, finally got in to find it filthy a slippper and a glass from the previous guest along with their breakfast on the floor. We called Room Steward on the phone and she came to check. On checking she agreed and got someone to come in and hoover and clean, we asked where were the towels she said no towels getting washed. We asked where was the glasses and enough pillows to sleep 4 people again fell on deaf ears. As this was a spa cabin and we had paid extra I asked where the slippers and complimentary toiletries were to be frank she said in her romanian accent "no slippers" carnivals fault !

This is the third Carnival cruise we have done and could not believe her attitude which only got worse in to the cruise on the last day she decided not to clean our cabin using an excuse that the snoozing sign was on the door when it was hanging up in our cabin. Having read a previous review on cabin 10141 I can totally sympathise I understand you dont stay in your cabin and your out and about but come on Carnival get a grip with these lazy people !!

The ship is old and still has the old feeling not like the new ships. We found the food to be good we had an 8.15pm reservation for dinner and found sometimes we were eating dessert nearly 2 1/2 hours later quite slow the waiting staff and polite and are extremley busy maybe they need more staff ?

Cabin Review

Spa Interior

Cabin 4S

10141 Deck 10 Cabin 4S Spa. Tiny for four people once the beds were down felt very closed in. Not much room to move once they were down also very very noisy if you like to sleep dont book this cabin the main door from the deck would bang all day and night the spa deck should be only entered by spa cabin customers that would stop it becoming a party venue on an evening.
