Another lovely time on Silverseas

Sail Date: August 2013
Destination: Baltic & Northern Europe
Embarkation: Stockholm

Our butler, Kumar, and his assistant, Ranny absolutely spoiled us. No detail was left unattended. I never had to ask to refill the fridge with my favorite beverage-Kumar took note from the first day on. He went above and beyond, helping us to select wine, delivering it to the room, taking it to the restaurant, escorting us to the restaurant....he was fantastic and the cabin was spotless!

Zoe in hairdressing was amazing. Best blow dry/style I have ever had.

Dhanyesh in the main dining room made us feel as if we were the only people he was serving. I don't know how he took care of so many tables and had time to attend to so many details, and his charming smile warms your heart.

All in all, Silverseas does it right from beginning to end! And the size of the ship is perfect-not too many people, but not so few that you feel as if you run into the same people over and over.

This company knows how to do it right! Less

Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood

went with private guide-beautiful

City Tour

not worth doing-we were on the bus the majority of the time-you could get out for a photo op, but not to go in and see anything--our bus went to the wrong place and our 45 minute boat ride ended up being 10 minutes, and we saw the same sites we had seen by bus

Hermitage Museum

excellent guide-group tour-a must do-very educational

Private Tour

very well educated guide-she packed a lot into our short time with her

St. Isaac's Cathedral

beautiful, went with a private guide

a pleasant surprise-lovely city, very nice citizens, Grand Hotel was wonderful and staff very accomodating-referred us to Restaurang Prinsen where we had one of the best meals we have ever had-take the boat tour-it is interesting and educational

City Tour

guide was informative-learned some history-not really all that great a place
