Cabin: Balcony

Embarkation was peaceful and quick. Arrived at 1pm and we were in our cabin by 1:20. Very easy and smooth. Cabin has worn out carpet coming loose in areas. Furniture creeks just from the rocking of the ship. Balcony door was hard to slide open and closed. Tile and grout is missing in bath area, she needs a full update in the cabins anyway in my opinion. Lots of rusted pipes and broken parts. After 7 days we were told our balcony was scheduled fro service, no doubt due to a complaint by previous occupant, door was resealed, new gaskets on glass and seals on track. The door was leaking air so badly it was gushing in and whistling, this after their repair. After alerting the pursers desk, which was a major task, a carpenter rigged a temporary fix as it was.

Food was good most of the time, just not prepared as the menu stated.. poor service at times. It just seemed most of the crew was dragging around and not caring much, even the cruise director looked that way the first 5 or 6 days.

best part of the cruise was a comedian named Kevin Hughes, he made the cruise a lot better, along with the scenery.

Cabin BD

Tired and worn out. Small. moldy shower. Old furniture, worn out carpet. Bedding is worn and stained, comforter had holes it, same with sheets. Steward was only true plus for the cabin.
