Sail Date: May 2013
Cabin: Signature Suite

This is just a quick review of the Signature Suite we in on our May 2013 Mediterranean cruise.

What can I say but it was worth every penny to upgrade to this room. First the 9 foot ceiling are just amazing. After staying in our suite #4103 and then going to see a standard ceiling height room, you truly appreciate the open feeling. That and the floor to ceiling windows.

Every thing about the room was great. There were three of us, myself and my wife and our 11 year old son, and we had more than enough room. Our son slept in the pullout couch and he said it slept great. There is plenty of storage space in the two closets. The bathroom is great. Tons of counter space and storage and the shower/tub .... Wow. It has a glass side panel and the glass wall to the bedroom is electrochromatic (turns opaque with a flip of the switch). The adjustable bed in the bedroom was also a nice feature, especially the massage function after a day of touring.

Several times the band was playing in the Sky lounge and you could just barely tell in the hall way outside the room and there was no sound coming into the room. And I didn't hear anything coming from up above, ever. In fact, it may have been one of the quieter rooms on the ship. Only thing was being up on Deck 14 and at the front there was a little more motion with rough seas.Having a butler did have its perks. From dinner reservations to breakfast served on the veranda in the mornings. If there was ever an issue she took care of it. That really made it easy to get to the shore excursions. Would we pick these rooms again? Yes, in fact we have booked another cruise one room over.
