Ship Facts: Carnival Triumph Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Carnival Triumph Deck Plans
Nice Cruise but could be improved

Pros:

Fast embarkation. Smooth sailing, good food, quiet staterooms. Cozumel is a great port, we love Chackannab. Nice casino, liked most of the shows.

Cons:

Staff confiscated our small 8in fans (0.45Amps) and were unaware of company policy. The desk staff stated "No electrical devices allowed, not even electric razor or computer" Why do they even have outlets in the rooms? They apparently had not read their own policy. They finally relented and brought us a different fan, a monstrous 21 in fan??? Now that's safer!!!

Music way too loud at times around the pool.

Dirty rooms, dusty and in need of vacuuming

The shower water pressure was barely a trickle. Not enough to take a shower.

Muster drill was a joke. They forced us into a small hallway for 45 min and then forced us into the forward lounge to do it again after an airline broke. People, other ships do this in the dining halls and lounges where you can sit. I can't stand for that period of time. If it takes more than 20 min, your doing it wrong.

Progresso: What a sad port. I'm not kidding that we had people continuously trying to sell us crap every 5 min on the beach. Take a guided bus tour and go back to ship. Don't go to the beach area.

Ship, Lots of open deck space they could add activities to.

Magic show: The state manager got sick and they had to make do with a poor excuse of a show. They really needed a "Plan-B".
