The Thomson idea of Customer Service appears to be 'we've got your money and we don't care'.
The Thomson Celebration is at best tired, at worst years past it's best. Signs of the 'refurbishment' are non-existent with worn carpets, poorly fitted cabin fixtures, poor bathroom fittings etc.........
The standard of food is low, with dishes being rehashed with the addition of tinned vegetables, 'crab' on the menu is actually seafood sticks, the addition of curry powder to soups transform them into Mulligatawny soup.
During our cruise, at any time, half of the toilets in public areas were out of order.
Don't bother reporting anything to Reception as they don't care and treat you like idiots, 'we've got your money and we don't care' is the best way I can describe the attitude, and they are totally incompetent.
The ship broke down whilst we were on board, the staff seemed to accept it as a regular occurrence, says a lot for the maintenance of the ship.
Don't expect to be told anything useful, numerous announcements but if there's something important such as a change of the itinerary then absolutely no communication. And again 'we've got your money and we don't care'.
To finish what was a disappointing holiday our return flight was delayed by 6 hours and yet again the attitude was 'we've got your money and we don't care'.
I will never go on a Thomson cruise or holiday again, the worst Customer Service I have ever experienced.
