This was a very special cruise for me, not only is this my 37th cruise but it was my honeymoon as well. I must say, my room was beautiful being in the penthouse does have its special moments. My room steward Roberto and his assistant Elizabeth were exceptional. My room was clean from top to bottom each day. Randy, my butler was always available and made my honeymoon wonderful making sure Paul and I had everything we needed. I must say, this ship is beautiful, I love the Asian decor and the rooms were always inviting. The people who worked on the ship were friendly, each day I received a good morning and hello. (You don't get that on Royal Caribbean) what a pleasure it was. I have seen many of these ports yet I still enjoy the beaches and what great weather we had. I met many special people on the cruise, some at our bus stop in New Haven, CT. It was great meeting many of the people from Cruise Critic as well. I didn't go to many shows, but they make the best Martini's (you must go to the martini class)The food was great, this was a big week where the menu's changed. I enjoyed La Bistro .....Ohh la la.........but, I will miss the chocolate fondue, (I hope maybe Cagney's picks it up) I missed the Chocolate buffet but there is so much to do, I can not see how anyone can be "bored".

In closing, the only thing that upset me was the constant whining from passengers over and over again over things that NCL had no control over. If you go to St. Thomas on Sundays, not all stores are open, and those that are do not stay open late. What you did not buy there, you can buy at the next port. Please do not complain about how long you are at a port. The itinerary is something you should have considered when booking. All cruise lines leave around the same time.

I love NCL, and I am going on the Dawn next year, and keeping my eyes open for the Gem too.
