This was our family vacation. 7 family members ranging in age from 11 yrs. to 65 yrs. We arrived at Port of Miami on a free shuttle from Embassy Suites. Great place to stay pre cruise.

We were at the cruise terminal, which is lovely, and were checked in quickly. The process probably took less than 20 minutes, and we had a Bon Voyage picture taken, and were on the ship! Very friendly staff, and we magically ended up in the Buffet. Nice selections. Mongolian Wok is great! First impression of the Ship was very nice, clean, and easy to navigate. Our luggage was at our cabin doors prior to muster. Sail away was great up on deck. We all had lots to do on board. Mini golf, water slide, library, arcade, casino, people watching, EATING , and relaxing!! We all agreed that the food in the MDR was the best food we have had at Sea! Every ,meal was delicious, presented beautifully, and seasoned just right! Guys burgers, Diamonds Steakhouse and Pizza pirate were delicious as well. The alcoholic beverages were plentiful, but we opted for wine every evening with our Dinner; a bottle every evening compliments of our travel agent!

A few evenings there were obnoxious Tweens running up and down the halls screaming and being disruptive. But this is what happens when their parents drink too much, pass out and have no clue where their kids are and what they're doing!! Other than that, the Cruise was fantastic. We will sail on Carnival again!

Port and Shore Excursions

City Tour

Belize city is very poor. We were swarmed by children, cab drivers, hair braiders, merchants..... As soon as we left the port gates. We hired a driver; Barrington, to give us a tour of the sights. Much poverty noted. Nice water, of course, but not much else. I would not want to visit Belize again!

Cozumel is beautiful! Clean, safe, friendly people and beautiful water. Eat at Panchos backyard!! Best food in Cozumel. This is where we want to retire!, Have visited Cozumel before; will DEFINITELY return!

Grand Cayman is beautiful. Very clean. Tour was great!! The Nautilus was fantastic, lots of fish to see!! We also enjoyed Hell; we sent a postcard home! The Turtle Farm was great. We had an informative guide. We also got a nice tour of the town as we drove from place to place. Rum factory was crowded; unfortunately we experienced a crowd making a meal out of the free samples!! But I must admit the rum fudge was tasty! The view and water behind the rum factory, was like glass. BEAUTIFUL!!! We would definitely visit this port again.

Rum Cake Factory

Lots of samples of rum as well as cakes, fudge and other rum enhanced goodies. A bit crowded, but worth it to check out.

Semi Submarine Tour

The Nautilus was great. Long ride around water; about 45 minute. We saw lots of colorful fish, scuba divers, and shipwrecks!! Air conditioning felt great during the ride!!

Turtle Farm

This was a wonderful stop. The turtles are cute. It's very interactive; you hold them, and stand in the pool with them. GREAT!!

This was a Great tour! The parrots and monkeys were wonderful! The monkeys were adorable and so well trained. We took lots of pictures. The birds were brightly colored, we took pictures with them as well. We walked around Gumbalimba park. Lots of little critters seen. Bring lots of mosquito spray. II highly recommend this excursion.
