We just returned from an 8-day cruise on the Carnival Legend and it was FANTASTIC! The food in Truffles was world class. The food on the Lido deck was delicious and fresh. We had to use room service often and every time it was fast and fresh. As always, the ice cream was FREE! We had dinner at the Supper Club one night and it was absolutely unbelievable! As with the food in Truffles, we noticed the flavors rather than spices or sauces. The food was prepared expertly, even the salads.

The service was also spectacular. Our dinner team was John and Jose and we wanted to bring them home with us. They were genuinely nice guys and we felt fortunate to have met them. Our cabin attendants did a great job and their towel animal talents exceeded our expectations. We commented more than once that the crew one the Legend must be happy because they treated us well and addressed us cheerfully when we met in the passageways.

Our itinerary included St. Maarten, Barbados and Martinique. In St. Maarten we took the Island Tour that included both a bus and a boat tour. Our guide, Stephanie, was knowledgeable and entertaining. She made the excursion fun and interesting. There was time for shopping between the boat and bus trips. When we returned from the excursion, we had a very casual lunch on the beautiful beach and walked in the sand. What a wonderful experience!
