This has been our third Princess cruise and the first one to Alaska. Embarkation/disembarkation at Seattle Pier91 were very smooth, quick, and efficient.
Our stateroom was ready but the bathroom mirror showed signs of aging. Beds were comfortable. Pillows were flat and bed padding stained and appeared not washed for a long time. For some reason our stateroom was difficult to cool. On the coldest setting, the room temperature was not what weve expected.
Stateroom steward kept our room clean no problems.
Compared to our cruises from few years ago, the food quality was much worse, even at dining rooms. It appears Princess chose quantity over quality. Something to keep in mind: couples requesting a dining room sitting (not anytime dining) will most likely end up with strangers joining them for dinner. Not a pleasant experience.
Buffet service was excellent. Very attentive and courteous.
Entertainment also went downhill. Magic show not so magical, singing was loud but not good (louder is not better). One exception, Oscar Carlos, comedian very funny and drew big crowds at every show.
Beautiful weather made this cruise an enjoyable one
