Just returned from a truly amazing cruise, on-board the Island Escape.

We visited some fantastic destinations and made a couple on the on-shore excursions, which were both very informative and more importantly very enjoyable and good value for money.

The food on-board was of a very high standard, and the Oasis Restaurant took dining to another level. With the service and attention to detail of a high class restaurant. The Matre D (Jose) was exceptional and ensured that we were more than well looked after with our dietary requests, not only in the Oasis Restaurant but in all of the other dining outlets. We dined in the Oasis on the first night at the discounted rate of 11.99, it was so good that we dined here every night of our cruise and at 14.99 it was excellent value for money (bearing in mind that our local Beefeater charges more for only a steak). We had the same waiter every evening (Valentino, as we called him) and he was an absolute joy ensuring that we were not only served but entertained at the same time. Our meal's were very relaxed and often lasted over 2.5 hours, which left no time for us to take in any of the on-board entertainment. Speaking to other guests they told us the entertainment was excellent, but our meals and service more than compensated for missing the shows.

Cabin Review

We had an outside cabin on Deck 5.Excellent location.Dated interior.Spotlessly clean.More than adequate.Would us again.
