Our vacation started with very heavy traffic on the Embarcadero trying to get to the Cruise Pier. We ended up having our daughter make a left turn on a street directly across from the Pier, we hopped out- walked across the street with our luggage, gave it to a porter and went inside the terminal. With in minutes we filled out the Health Form, directed to a line, checked in, got our room cards, got in another line to board the ship. It took us 30 minutes from crubside to our room!! As we opened the door to our room, our steward- Noli- greeted us by name (and remembered our names through out the whole cruise)Our luggage arrive in a very short time. The room was very clean (inside rooms are on the small side, but you are not in there that much). Noli kept our room and bathroom very clean. The bed was very comfortable, the pillows were hard.

All of the Princess crew members were extremely friendly, every time we passed someone they asked if we needed help, how our day was, etc- always with a smile!

We had 5:30 dining (at first we thought this would be to early, but it worked out fine) We were at table 173, our waiters were excellent, friendly, if someone at the table did not like something- it was replaced immediately! The food overall was good. There was a nice selection each night, Everything we tried was good, lots of flavor, some had large portions, all desserts were excellent. We ate all our Breakfasts and some lunches at the Horizon Buffet. There was a large selection of food from- many types of eggs, sauges, pancakes, waffels, oatmeal, pastries, breads, soup, sandwich bar, other items (if you cant find something to eat you must be very picky) Everything was served hot and good. There are napkins and silverware on each table, the waiters in the buffet come around and serve you coffee, juice- we never had to wait long to get served.

Cabin Review

Cabin L

Our room was very clean as was the bathroom. The bed was comfortable, the pillows are terrible! We picked a room in the middle of the ship so as to not have a lot of ship movement if the waters were rough. It was very quiet there, we never saw the people on either side of us. Also close to an elevator was nice.
